We recently met with @david_gingell who, alongside his business partner Jeremie, has spent the last decade shaping a quiet but unmistakable corner of London’s food scene.

It started back in 2014, when they took over the old ‘Barnes Motors’ building near Newington Green and opened @primeur_restaurant - a place built on honest cooking and good ingredients, served without fuss. What began there has grown into something of a cult following: the opening of @westernslaundry and four beloved @jolene_bakery sites, each one carrying that same sense of care and generosity.
