We recently met with James Reid from @kikai_plants. Having founded Kikai Plants in 2020, his background in horticulture began much earlier. From a very young age at the allotment with his mother, to later honing his skills with established employers, undertaking high-end installations at well known brands.

Now with over a decade of professional experience, he brings life and vibrancy to the urban spaces we move through, from commercial interiors to creative studios. He creates natural, quietly luxurious environmental shaped by intentional design and a deep respect for how plants and florals influence mood and atmosphere. Seasonal flowers anchor his practise, from sculptural arrangement to soft, textural installations.
